World on fire
Watched the music video on iTMS and the images was gripping. I paused in my footsteps to take in the message of the artist. Sarah McLachlan, one of the few artists who would put aside the pursuit of vanity and pure eye candy for the needs of those lesser. An example she has chosen to emblem.
Instead of spending $150,000 to make a music video, she gave away that money to a list of charities and spent $15 making this video. Although in the eyes of the arm chair critics, this is nothing new. This act of love, however, would be very different in the eyes of those stricken and broken.
I suggest giving yourself a heartbreak and start considering what is vanity spending.

Brooke Fraser
Took a drive down Victoria Gardens and Sanity was piping Brooke Fraser. Which drew me in like bee to honey.
The new single, Lifeline, was a noticeably different version. Different enough from what I have on hand. To say the least it is a lot heavier and edgy-er. Glad they re-recorded it. Though the original studio LP was not doing her justice. Her songs and vocals have so much more energy than what you hear on the album. Though, I think they still went with the conservative route when compressing her vocals.
But do check her out ... after all, she opened for John Mayer for his Australian tours.

Release
The doves are set free and no longer I who live but this in me, the freedom within, now bursting through the seams.
I'm releasing you out to the ocean. No longer are you in my heart tormenting my nights and long drives. I want to see clearly. I want a clean head, a fresh slate. For this day draws nearer the glorious 30 years of jubilee, how can I hold on till the tale grows grey. No more will I slow down, no more will I reject. My love I will give, till my love it dries like blood on a stone wall. You are no machine, so I will not push the button. But let it be, as my heart breeds, or heals as wounds could.
The colours are coming back to life and freshness awaits at my doorstep. No longer will this spawn lie down in the grave. For life carries on after 2 become each one.
Rest in peace, O my soul. There's a journey ahead.

Known Bugs: Does not work well with Explorer for Mac OSX 10.x. Menu items incorrectly displayed on Explorer for Windows XP. Works well in OmniWeb except tagboard does not work. Not sure about Safari for Mac OS X. Anyone got any luck on that?
